About Life Support

I started the Life Support project back in 2010 after the Haiti Earthquake.

Feeling helpless, I knew that a benefit was something I could do. Working with my artists, we all agreed this was something we could produce to try to make a difference.

Supporting Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders we were able to donate $10,000 to relief efforts.

The following year was Japan's earthquake and tsunami. I couldn't sit still and watch the suffering and destruction. Within 24 hours of the disaster, we again launched Life Support. This time our beneficiaries were two organizations that already had people on the ground trying to help.  We supported Direct Relief International and Habitat for Humanity. Providing medical supplies and teams of people and supplies to help rebuild, we felt these organizations would be best suited to help in the immediate needs of the people of Japan.

The scale of the Japan effort was massive, 350 artists and 1,500 purchased prints later, we were able to donate $25,000 to both non profits for a total raised of $50,000.

I feel blessed to be part of a creative community that feels as strongly as I do about giving back.

Puerto Rico was next after a devastating hurricane decimated the island. We supported  Direct Relief International again, because of their ability to get on the ground early to support hospitals and clinics on the island.

Thank you for supporting our efforts, for supporting our artists creativity, and most importantly, for supporting organizations that are working to make a difference everyday.

With much gratitude,
